It was a flash of red that attracts her, a bright brush of colour against the plain and rocky background. Before her stands a female Pyroar, who had clearly just finished a brawl with several other Pokemon. The female was breathing hard, her moxie in full effect as several weaker, battered Pokemon pick up their sorry butts and flee.[break][break]

The wild Pyroar turns on Stormy then, fully prepared to deal with her in the same way. It seemed she was hungry, fighting tooth and claw to protect a carcass of some sort that other predators hungrily laid eyes on.[break][break]

However, just as she leaps forward to take down the human, another Pyroar appears from past Stormy's shoulder, jostling her briefly as she catches her breath and watches.[break][break]

The woman's own male Pyroar had arrived, his noble roar knocking the female down a couple pegs. She hesitates, skidding to a halt instead of engaging. Her attention slides then from Stormy to her new opponent, and back to the half-eaten carcass.[break][break]

"She's hungry. She sees us as a threat."[break][break]

With that, Stormy begins to back up, encouraging her own Pokemon to do the same, but still the female persists, dead-set on fighting.[break][break]

The two lions meet in the middle in a flurry of fangs and fire, their teeth aflame as they seek to tear each other down. It's not until the male bellows with a hyper voice followed, by a pin down with his fire fangs that she gives up. Despite her moxie, she is weak physically. [break][break]

"We'll take her with us. She won't be hungry again."[break][break]

The male dips his head respectfully as he steps away from the unconscious female, and Stormy throws a pokeball to the exhausted Pokemon.
